Wireless Battery-Free Body Temperature Sensing Device for Key Workers

We propose a battery-free temperature monitoring device that can be fitted inside the ear for an accurate body measurement of subject. The proposed application consists two primary systems: 1) sensing ultra-high-frequency radio frequency identification sensory tag and 2) auxiliary energy harvesting system, which enhances device's accuracy precision. system record changes in localized authenticated users with average latency 501 ms. assembly demonstrated ± 0.14 °C operating at 866 MHz. performance high stability repeatability reported measurements. dimension is form factor easily fit front shirt pocket, wire tethered earbud sensor. developed to make sensor measurements without requiring battery device. Measurements are made remotely as pass by checkpoints installed throughout building. cost-effective solution work environments.
